When I had made the Kadai Paneer gravy , I wanted a really delicious flat bread to go with instead of regular chapati/roti. Here I have made square shaped paratha, but you can make simple round or triangle like this ajwain paratha, anyway it will taste fantastic. Only difference is that round one will not be that flaky as square or triangle one.
Steps to make Simple square paratha:
- Paratha banane ke liye hamain sab se pehle aik tawa ki zarurat ho gi
- Aik pan me flour,salt kolonji and pani ke saath aik soft si dough tayyar kar lain
- Pede banain roti ki tarah bail kar ghee lagain
- Square parathe ki tarah fold karain
- Ab square ki tarah bailain tawe par daal kar pakain and ghee lagain
- Lijiye janaab square paratha tayyar hai ab garma garam chai ke saath maze le le kar khain😋
Here I have made square shaped paratha, but you can make simple round or triangle like this ajwain paratha, anyway it will taste fantastic. Only difference is that round one will not be that flaky as square or triangle one. Flakiness comes from the oil used during the folding part. Dust with some flour then roll the paratha into square shape and you will get a square folded paratha. Paratha is puffing from one side then flip the paratha from another side.
