In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over low heat. Add in eggs and vanilla, making sure to combine completely. Add flour, baking powder and salt, stir again. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x13 pan with foil or parchment paper and let it hang over the side of the pan

- Allow crust to cool

- Let cool completely and lift the bars out of the pan (using the foil/parchment paper) and cut into small squares
