  6. Add salt, red chili powder and amchoor powder and mix well - Add chopped Coriander leaves.
  7. Dal is ready when it leaves sides of the pan and all the moisture is evaporated. - Let the mixture cool down little bit.
  8. Grease a large plate with little oil - Evenly spread the dal mixture in the plate with 1/4 inch thickness. - Let the mixture set in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  9. Once mixture is nicely set, cut into equal shape squares.
  10. Take oil for frying in a pan - - I have pan fried them one can shallow fry or deep fry too - Let the cutlets be crispy & brown from both the sides.
  11. Serve Masoor Dal Cutlet warm with green chutney.
  12. Note - - These cutlets can be made and stored in the fridge and fried at the time of serving
