- Cut the rolls into 1/2 inch thick slices, and place the slices on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake until the cookies are golden, 8 to 10 minutes.
- Cool the cookies on wire racks.
- This recipe makes about 5 dozen cookies.
- You can freeze the logs until it's time to bake and slice them right from the freezer, but add 2 to 3 minutes to the baking time.
- You can also roll these in different colored sprinkles to use for a different occasion other than Christmas.
