  6. Make ready 1 White sesame seeds

On a rolling mat, place one sheet of nori with the rough side facing upwards. Wet your hands and grab a handful of rice and place it on the nori. Spread the rice evenly throughout the nori without mashing the rice down. Spread a thin layer of rice on top of the the seaweed.

  1. When the rice is cooked, pour over the rakkyo vinegar and mix.
  2. Spread a sheet of plastic wrap the same size as the nori sheet and evenly spread on the sushi rice from Step 1.
  3. Place the avocado and imitation crab stick in a straight line on top of the rice.
  4. Lay a sheet of nori on top of the rice.
  5. Roll them up, slice into 3 cm width, lay them on the side to sprinkle white sesame seeds and they are done.

Spread the rice evenly throughout the nori without mashing the rice down. Spread a thin layer of rice on top of the the seaweed. Using the mat as a guide, carefully roll the California roll into a tight log. Mix the imitation crabmeat with mayonnaise in a bowl, and set aside. To roll the sushi, cover a bamboo rolling mat with plastic wrap.
