Combine the noodles into the sauerkraut mixture, turning and folding in gently. While onions are cooking, follow box directions and boil farfalle pasta.

  1. Cook 1 package extra wide noodles according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking water.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add 1 package of frozen fully cooked pork sausage links (cut in 1 inch pieces) and 1 onion (chopped); cook, stirring occasionally, until sausage is browned and onion is tender, 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add 1 package sauerkraut (drained), 1 apple (cored, chopped), 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon dried marjoram and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; cook, string, until sauerkraut is browned and apple is tender, 4-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in noodles and reserved water.
  6. Cook until heated through, 1-2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt to taste.

Combine the noodles into the sauerkraut mixture, turning and folding in gently. While onions are cooking, follow box directions and boil farfalle pasta. When butter is nearly gone, add pasta and toss. DIRECTIONS Cook Bow tie noodles according to package and drain. Chop your onion and in a separate small microwavable bowl heat the onion and butter until butter is melted.
