- Note: make sure you don’t knead the dough a lot because it gets oily.
- Put the dough in the freezer bag and rest it in the refrigerator for half an hour. During this time, core the dates and knead them until they soften, then add the rest of the stuffing ingredients to it and make balls the size of a walnut.
- Take the dough out of the refrigerator and make balls bigger than the date balls from the dough. Then flatten the dough balls in our hands and put a date ball in the middle of each.
- Cover the dates completely with the dough so that there are no seams and cracks in the dough, then spread it with a little hand pressure, wrap its edges and put it in the oven tray.
- No need for baking paper and greasing the tray. Just sprinkle a little bit flour on the tray. Then bake the cookies for around 30 minutes in the oven (180 C) until they get little bit gold from down. Bon Apetit!
